Responsibilities:

• Complete speech therapy assessment and follow-up of the patient's communicative, linguistic and/or swallowing progress.

• Diagnosis and treatment of speech, language, voice, communication and orofacial function disorders.

• Home care for the patient.

• Intervention in swallowing difficulties (dysphagia) and orofacial myofunctional rehabilitation.

• Design and application of individualized therapeutic programs, for both children and adults.

• Education and guidance for patients and family members on communication guidelines, exercises and support strategies.

• Detailed, up-to-date clinical recording based on quality of care criteria.

• Preparation of periodic speech therapy reports and coordination with other healthcare and educational professionals.

• Participation in interdisciplinary meetings with psychology, physiotherapy, neurology, pediatrics and other services.

• Management of incidents and care in emergency situations related to communication or swallowing disorders.

• Responsible, hygienic use and maintenance of therapeutic material and speech therapy instruments.

Essential requirements:

• Demonstrable minimum experience of 5 years in a clinical, hospital or home care environment.

• Degree in Speech Therapy in Spain and/or accredited degree, with current professional registration.

• Driver's license and own vehicle for travel.

• Valid work permit in Spain.

• Availability to work in Madrid.
